Wills & Probate SolicitorLocation: Blackburn / HybridSalary: CompetitiveAn established and growing law firm is looking for a Wills & Probate Solicitor to join its expanding team across multiple locations. With a strong focus on career progression and professional development, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor to build their expertise within a supportive environment.The Role:
  • Managing a caseload of Wills, Probate, and Estate Administration matters, including taxable estates.
  • Drafting tax-efficient Wills and advising on inheritance tax mitigation.
  • Handling the administration of estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and tax obligations.
  • Advising clients on asset protection, care fee planning, and lifetime trusts.
  • Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Assisting with Court of Protection applications and advising on deputyship matters.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A qualified Solicitor, ideally 0-3 years PQE
  • Strong technical knowledge in Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Estate Planning.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload independently, while also collaborating within a team.
  • Excellent communication and client-care skills, ensuring a compassionate and professional approach.
  • Proactive and commercially aware, with an interest in business development.
