The Role

As a Lecturer in Maths, you will be part of the Maths & English department, delivering Maths GCSE and Functional Skills to learners on study programmes. You will contribute to the development and success of the department, including focusing on attendance, achievement and student success alongside, curriculum design/development linked to vocational areas whilst ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who possesses a Level 4 or above qualification in a relevant subject discipline and a recognised teaching qualification (or willing to work towards within two years of appointment).

You must have experience of teaching Maths to 14 - 19 year old learners and have a strong awareness current developments within your discipline. You should also have proven organisational ability, work well as part of a team and be willing to work flexibly.
