IT Systems and Support Officer

The Role

This role requires an understanding of College’s Internal Networked System’s infrastructures, and the underlying technologies used in the day to day running of the College’s I.T Network, delivering and administrating complex internal System’s across a variety of products and technologies

The post holder will be required to assist with maintaining, managing and further developing Blackburn College’s large Microsoft and Apple networks, containing up to 3,000 networked devices and in the region of 7,000 staff and student accounts, incorporating Server and Desktop Virtual backbones.

What we are looking for

You should have experience of working in a network environment with an understanding of Microsoft operating systems and practical knowledge of Administering Networked Systems and how they are used in a networked environment. You will have excellent customer care and Interpersonal skills and working experience as part of a team. You must have qualification certificates that confirm you have achieved a minimum of level 2 in English and Maths.
