The Role:

As a Housing Paralegal, you will manage a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated housing disrepair files from start to finish. Working alongside skilled legal professionals, you will handle various property litigation matters, ensuring clients receive expert legal support.

Key Responsibilities of a Housing Paralegal:

Case Management - Handle your caseload of housing disrepair claims, including pre-litigated and litigated matters.Property Litigation - Work on a variety of property-related legal issues, including disrepair cases.Client Interaction - Liaise with clients, landlords, and third parties to progress cases efficiently.Legal Drafting - Prepare legal documents, witness statements, and evidence to support claims.

Requirements of a Housing Paralegal:

Minimum 12 months' experience as a Paralegal or Fee Earner handling Housing Disrepair cases.Strong understanding of property litigation, with experience in Housing Disrepair being essential.Additional experience in Cavity Wall Claims or Japanese Knotweed cases is desirable.Ability to manage a caseload independently and work effectively within a legal team.
