Warehouse Manager Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency and we are looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager for our prestigious Distribution client in the Blackburn area.Salary £44,000.00. Day Shift Monday - Friday 08:00 – 17.30. RequirementsLead a team of Warehouse Operatives. Previous experience of managing team performance and KPI’s.Mentor, develop and grow the team. Manage stock, materials, storage and despatch. Process documentation and administration. Manage the warehouse budget. Have a strong understanding of Health & Safety. Induct and train new members of staff. Implement ways to reduce waste. Work closely with the Quality Manager and support implementing polices & procedures. Increase efficiency within the warehouse operation. Be hands-on and support with operations.Ensure machinery, equipment and FLT’s are maintained and reports are kept up to date.A strong understanding of IT.Exceptional organisation and communication skills. Have previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be required to lead a team, support development within the team and build rapports with new & existing team members to push the warehouse forward. You’ll be required to be involved with operations, the warehouse budget and have a hands-on approach to ensure deadlines are met. You’ll need to be able to implement progressive ways of working to enhance efficiencies within the warehouse and work closely with other departments within the organisation. The right candidate will be process driven, be a great people person and have the experience required to support growth in a forward thinking company. Closing Date: 20th September 2024.
