Our client is a red hot, Tier 1 Main Contractor that specialises in the Industrial & Logistics, Data Centre, Pharma & Life Sciences and Commercial build projects. They are looking to bring on a Logistics Manager to work on an major build project in Preston.
Logistics Manager Roles & Responsibilities:
- Have experience of creating major project logistics strategy documents including Site/ Factory set up mobilisation plans.
- Materials forecasting, flow development and reporting - Lead the plan for entry and exit of all material movements inclusive of Delivery Management System
- Understanding of critical transport set up on construction projects.
- Have a developing knowledge of strategic planning and project / programme management systems.
- Have a working knowledge of safety of loads of vehicles and H&S standards for pedestrian access routes.
Logistics Manager experience required:
- 10+ years experience
- Excellent Construction Knowledge
- Major project experience
- Excellent communication / reporting skills
- Ambitious / driven
