Are you an experienced Plant Engineer looking for an exciting, hands-on role with a fast-growing company? As a small but rapidly expanding team based in the North, they specialise in the design, installation, repair, and servicing of fixed and mobile recycling plants and machinery. You will get everyday job satisfaction in a close-knit team, all accompanied by a fantastic package!

Established in 2006, they are constantly evolving and are therefore looking for a plant engineer to join their dynamic, close-knit team. As a plant engineer, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants a varied, engaging role with the chance to work in both workshop and field settings. If you are looking for a job that offers technical challenges, hands-on experience, and a close-knit team atmosphere, then this is the role for you!

Your role as a plant engineer would include:

  • Attend breakdowns and service jobs across the UK, diagnosing and repairing machinery issues on-site and in the workshop.
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on equipment
  • Provide on-site technical support to customers.
  • Occasional travel to client bases around the UK.
  • Full training + support

The successful plant engineer will have:

  • Previous experience within the plant industry or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, particularly in machinery like shredders, balers, trommels, star screens, and turners.
  • Full UK driving license with the flexibility to travel across the UK for breakdowns and service visits.
  • A can-do attitude.
