Central Recruitment are working with a large Distribution and Fulfilment company in the Blackburn area, recruiting for an experienced Operations Administrator.
Working rotating shifts
8am - 4pm and 4pm - Midnight
The role is varied and you will work alongside two departments, providing administrative support to the operations team. You will report into the Section Manager, daily duties will include:
- Carrying out daily pick allocations in line with pick waves
- Identifying unpicked order and liaising with the team to resolve any issues
- Using a warehouse management system
- Speaking to and arranging transport, dealing with drivers on site
- Supporting with administration
- Scanning in and booking out stock
- Printing labels to release goods
- Run daily reports
- Excellent customer services skills
- Drive to excel in customer experience
- Working with Microsoft, including Excel
Candidates applying for this position must have previous experience in a similar role, warehouse administration, operations administrations.
The ideal candidate will have good organisational and communication skills, be ok to work the rotating shift pattern and be available for a 4 months fixed term contract starting in September.
Immediate start, weekly pay, onsite canteen and free parking.
