Then THIS could be the ideal opportunity for you.I'm working with a specialist manufacturing company based in Blackburn who are going through sustained growth and who are now looking for an experienced & driven Production Manager to lead their production function.What you'll be doing:As the Production Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing the production process, ensuring products are manufactured on time, to specification, and within budget. You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations on the production floor and driving high productivity
  • Line management of 15 Production Operatives.
  • Having recently moved sites, you will take ownership of the production department and will develop and implement policies & processes from scratch, so you'll be able to 'put your stamp' on things.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed and driving continuous improvement
  • Overseeing quality control processes and ensuring on-time deliveries
  • Reporting on KPIs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Collaborating closely with other departments to optimise production efficiency

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in a production management role from within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in managing a diverse production team
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
  • Experience of working at Production Manager level already (this role would not suit for someone looking to take a 'step up' due to the nature of this role).
