Role: A Level English Teacher

Rate: 30 - 35 per hour

Eden Brown are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated A Level English Teacher on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Lancashire.
This is a temporary role for at least 27 hours per week that will run until the end of the academic year.
As a key member of our English department, you will have the opportunity to teach A Level English Language, English Literature, and/or English Language & Literature, depending on your experience and expertise.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting student's academic progress, and fostering a love for English in all its forms.
You will work closely with colleagues to provide a high-quality learning experience and contribute to the continued success of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering engaging A Level English lessons to students, with a focus on student-centred learning
* Planning and preparing lessons, assessments, and resources
* Monitoring and supporting student's progress through feedback and individual guidance
* Supporting students in exam preparation and study skills
Key Requirements:
* A relevant degree in English, English Literature, or a related field
* A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
* Experience teaching A Level English or relevant qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
A current enhanced is also needed for this role, if you do not have a current DBS Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf.
