This payroll position is within a dynamic manufacturing and distribution company in Blackburn, they are looking for an experienced payroll professional to join their growing team. In this role you will be responsible for the monthly and weekly end to end payroll for a large number of staff across several UK sites. You will ensure the clocking in system is correct and up to date, calculate appropriate payroll calculations such as annual leave, sickness, maternity and loan payments. You will also assist with the expense claims for mileage and other expenses along with assisting the Payroll Manager with other duties as and when necessary.
This will be a fast paced role within a high volume payroll and finance team so it is essential that the payroll administrator has a good attention to detail to be able to spot error and be able to work to payment deadlines.
This position will suit a candidate who has had some payroll exposure previously and has some understanding of general payroll calculations. This companies main goal is to ensure the new Payroll Administrator will fit in well within the team and shares the same values as them.
