We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining processes and techniques, with the ability to operate a Multi-head embroidery machine. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality garments and products. If you have a passion for embroidery and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
- Using a multi-head embroidery machine, you are required to produce high-quality garments with accuracy.
- Follow directions on the production specification sheet or customer order.
- Keeping a clean and tidy work area.
- Work well as a part of a production team.
- Collaborate with team members in a warehouse environment to meet production goals efficiently.
- Prepare for embroidery by counting, removing packaging, framing garments, changing thread colours, and loading designs.
- Monitor the embroidery process on the machine.
- Inventory checks and using computers to upload complete goods.
- Work accurately to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Multi-head embroidery machinist.
- Ability to sew is considered an advantage but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
