Conveyancing Team LeaderBlackburn / HybridSalary: Competitive, based on experienceAn established law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Team Leader to join its thriving Blackburn office. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and ambitious conveyancer to take on a leadership role, overseeing a busy and dynamic team while managing a high-quality caseload of residential property transactions.The Role:
  • Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, leasehold transactions, and new builds.
  • Leading and supervising a team of conveyancers, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure high standards of client service and legal expertise.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for complex matters, offering technical support and problem-solving expertise.
  • Overseeing compliance, risk management, and best practices within the team to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
  • Driving business development and client relationship management, helping to grow the firm's residential property offering.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing, with a proven track record of handling a high-volume caseload.
  • Experience in team leadership, supervision, or mentoring, with a strong ability to develop and support junior team members.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of the conveyancing process, regulatory requirements, and lender panel compliance.
  • Strong communication and client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • A proactive and solution-driven approach, with strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to business development and networking to support the firm’s continued growth.
