Lecturer in Computing (Digital)

£27,185 - £41,014 gross per annum

Full time - 37 hours per week

The Role

You will be part of a curriculum team contributing to delivery, planning, development and student support. You will be a part of a team that teaches on a wide range of courses including Gateway Digital & IT Skills level 1 and 2, BTEC level 2 and 3, the introduction of T levels. You will be committed to excellence, offering the very highest standards in teaching in the areas of programming languages, cyber security, data analysis and/or networking. You will also be expected to take responsibility for high levels of attendance and achievement on courses delivered as well as all administrative tasks related to class responsibility. 

What we are looking for

You should have a recognised level 4 qualification in Computing or equivalent industry experience and a relevant teaching qualification (or willing to work towards and achieve within 2 years of appointment). You should have a strong awareness of contemporary developments within the Computing sector along with experience in either programming language, cyber security, data analysis, AI and/or networking.
