Attendance, Progress and Academic Skills Coach
£26,393 Pro Rata, Per Annum
Part time - 35 hours per week - Temporary to 30 June 2025 or the return of the postholder whichever is soonest.
We are looking to appoint individuals with the skills, knowledge and experience to develop the role and use it to champion and support the most disadvantaged students by ensuring that all barriers to academic progress are removed.
The role requires you to act, where necessary, in the role of a mentor in terms of supporting high engagement with all elements of the Study Programme and a positive attitude to learning.
This role is ideal for anyone who has the desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our most disadvantaged young people by ensuring that each has a comprehensive and individualised package of support.
The role complements the work undertaken by other cross-college support teams, and will require a high level of communication particularly with the Tutor team and the Learning Support and Student Engagement Team.
