Children's Social Worker Team ManagerTeam: Duty and AssessmentLocation: BlackburnRate: £46

Blackburn with Darwen Children's Services require a Team Manager to cover a maternity leave in its Duty and Assessment Service and one to cover sickness in its Safeguarding, CP & Court Service.

Candidates will have good experience of supervising staff in a local authority frontline Social Work team and be required to provide the day-to-day management of a social work team of 5 - 6 workers in accordance with statutory guidance and departmental policy. You will need to directly manage social workers and allied staff in ensuring the delivery of best outcomes to those children and young people who are 'in need’ or at risk of harm.

They will ideally have experience of Protocol Liquid Logic system, be competent with IT and inputting, be flexible and able to come into the office as required with the expectation to be office-based 3, sometimes 4 days per week.
