SEN Teaching Assistant -

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN at a school near Blackburn.

You will be supporting a small group of children with SEN and contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Position Details:

  • Location: Blackburn
  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Hours: 8:15am-4pm
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: Jan 2025
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN is essential
  • Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
