SEN Teacher - Blackburn:
Prospero Teaching is looking to fill a vacancy for an SEN Teacher. The candidate should be experienced, qualified and passionate. Looking to facilitate growth as a student and a person for the young people.
You must hold a qualified teacher status for this position and have previous experience working within a SEN setting.
Position Details:
- Location: Blackburn
- Position: SEN Teacher
- Hours: 8am-4:30pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 150 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
The Role:
- Delivering and developing engaging lessons
- Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils
- Working collaboratively with other staff and external agencies
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting SEN within a specialist setting
- Team Teach training would be highly desired
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
