Job description
Central Recruitment are working with a Distribution Centre in Blackburn, recruiting for an experienced Stores Person.
Reporting into the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for running the Stores Department.
Duties will include:
- Operating the Counterbalance Forklift to move stock in the warehouse
- Unload and load deliveries
- Keep stock levels high
- Using a CRM to order stock
- General warehouse duties
- Picking stock using a hand held scanner
Candidates applying for this position must have previous experience on a counterbalance FLT and have a valid certificate.
The role will involve counting stock, reading orders in English and also using a computer daily, so must be confident around systems.
This is initially a temporary position, although there is the strong possibility of a permanent contract for the right person.
This is working a day shift between the hours of 8am-5pm Monday - Friday, free onsite parking.
Salary around 12 - 12.50 per hour, depending on experience.
