Residential Children Support Worker (Night Shifts & Sleepovers)
Location: Perthshire
Salary: 12-15 per hour
Hours:10:30 PM - 8:00 AM, including Sleepover Shifts

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Children Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide crucial support to children and young people within a residential setting during night shifts. You will help ensure their safety and well-being, offering emotional and practical support when needed, and promoting positive behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support, encouragement, and guidance to children and young people.
- Monitor and ensure the safety of children and young people throughout the night.
- Complete relevant reports and documentation in accordance with our policies.
- Support with any nighttime routines, assisting with personal care as required.
- Participate in sleepover shifts, ensuring the children are settled for the night and available to offer support if needed.
- Follow safeguarding protocols and contribute to creating a safe environment for all young people in the home.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a residential setting
- A caring and empathetic nature, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently during the night shifts and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undertake a sleepover shift and remain alert throughout the night.
- A commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of young people.
