An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a vibrant & well respected manufacturing company in the Blackpool area on a permanent basis. As the Management Accountant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Finance, Operations and Sales Teams on a day to day basis, providing a critical function. About the roleBased in Blackpool, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of month end management accounts to strict deadlines
- Develop and improve manufacturing accounting reporting, processes and procedures
- Liaison with Production on product costings and stock takes
- Balance sheet reconciliations including Inter Company Balances on a monthly basis
- Cash Flow management and forecasting
About youThe ideal candidate for this position must have:
- Ideally qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or have relevant experience within a similar role within manufacturing
- Strong Excel skills and experience of working with ERP software is preferable
- Experience with product costing & understanding of the manufacturing process is desirable, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills & will be partnering with stakeholders across the business

- Salary: £37,000 - £45,000
