Our client is looking to recruit Press Brake Operatives to join a friendly team within a well-established company. We are seeking motivated & driven candidates who want to learn new skills and gain new experiences to progress within their career.

Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine the required specifications for each job.

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal plates and sheets.

Select the appropriate tooling, dies, and machinery settings for each bending operation.

Position metal plates and sheets onto the press brake machine and accurately align them according to the specified measurements.

Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and depth to ensure precise bending and shaping of the metal.

Monitor the operation of the press brake machine, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications, dimensions, and quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent malfunctions.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or notify the maintenance department for repairs.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

All training provided

Shifts:

Monday- Thursday 7am -4.30pm

Pay:

£13-15ph
