Do you fancy taking a leading role at Madame Tussauds Blackpool? We are seeking an experienced and proactive Retail Manager to oversee and optimise the day-to-day commercial operations across our Retail, Photography, and Food & Beverage departments. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

As the Retail Manager for Madame Tussauds Blackpool you will need to drive revenue through strategic commercial offerings and achieve set targets in SPH, Cost of Sales Margin, and stock management. In addition to driving revenue you will need to oversee stock rotation, manage stock levels, and ensure an attractive merchandise display. You will also need to conduct quarterly stock takes and work with suppliers to maximise profitability.

You’ll ensure smooth running of the daily operation ensuring mystery shop and KPI standards are adhered to at all times. You can’t do all this on your own though, so you’ll be recruiting, training and developing your immediate team, through regular performance reviews, coaching and ongoing development.

This is a permanent, full-time role, with a working shift pattern to cover 5 out of 7 days. Due to our business being open all year round we require full availability, including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, ideally within the attractions, hospitality, or entertainment industries.
  • Good knowledge of Retail sales systems
  • Full understanding and analysis of commercial reports
  • To be an excellent communicator and inspirational leader
  • A commercial mind with the ability to think ahead and see the bigger picture
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and implement with pace
