We're excited to find passionate and committed Teaching Assistants in Blackpool to assist our KS3 and KS4 students and teachers. This role offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £85 to £90, depending on your qualifications, experience, and teaching background.
Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers in delivering lessons, helping students with their individual learning needs, and creating a positive and engaging classroom environment. You will work closely with both students and educators to ensure that learning objectives are met and that every student feels supported and motivated.

Responsibilities:
- Reading, writing and SPAG support.
- Adjusting or breaking down activities to support participation and understanding.
- Develop a supportive relationship with the child that promotes self esteem and confidence.
- To develop knowledge and understanding of the specific academic, physical, emotional and behavioural needs of the child and respond to them effectively.
- To liaise with the Teacher and SENCO about the development and support needed at home and in school for the child.
- To provide the whole class, small groups and 1:1 support.
- Monitor and maintain records of the pupils progress.
- To assist with general school duties which may include setting up classrooms, preparing resources and displays and tidying and clearing away
- Supervision of children during lunch times and Supervision of children entering and leaving school premises.
Requirements:
- Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
- Ability to engage with, and build rapport with the students.
- Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style.
- Have experience with SEN or knowledge learning difficulties.
- TA qualified.
