SEMH TA - Blackpool:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to support children with SEMH needs. This is on a full time basis and will require supporting small groups and on 1-1 basis.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Blackpool
- Position - SEMH TA
- Start Date - January 2025
- End Date - Ongoing
- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Hours - 8:30am - 3:45pm
- The Minimum Rate of Pay - £90 per day
- Type of work: Temporary
EXPERIENCE
- Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
- Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
- Experience of effectively and positively managing a class and leading learning with groups of pupils, using appropriate strategies to enable them to settle to learn.
TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- GCSE English/Maths at grade A to C or equivalent.
- Commitment to all CPD offered.
- Team Teach training would be beneficial to this role, however this can be provided for free.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide a minimum of two professional related references
- Provide a full CV from high school to present with gaps explained
