Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an organised Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Blackpool?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a hardworking and experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a popular supportive Secondary School based in Blackpool and they are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. You will be providing 1-1 and general support for pupils aged 11 - 16 years old. The role is to start as soon as possible and is long term.

The Secondary school supports children from 11 - 16 year old's, this role is to support children on a 1-1 basis in the main classroom with a wide range of additional needs including, ASD (Autism), ADHD and physical needs.

They are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with Secondary Schools and who has supported children with additional learning needs.

This school offers an inspirational environment where creative learning is encouraged, and an innovative attitude is a must.

This a a full time position Monday to Friday long term.

Essential requirements:

Have excellent communication and behaviour management techniques

Be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour

Excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication

Passion to ensure every pupil succeeds and reaches their full potential

An awareness of their own strengths and areas for development and a willingness to listen to, reflect constructively and ac upon, as appropriate, feedback from others

Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
