About the School
A dynamic and welcoming Secondary School in Blackpool is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. The school offers a supportive senior leadership team and provides excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression. With modern facilities and resources, you will be well-equipped to offer high-quality support to students both in the classroom and on a more individual basis.
Role Responsibilities

Supporting teaching staff in whole class settings, ensuring students are fully engaged and supported

Providing 1:1 and small group intervention to help students meet their individual learning needs

Assisting with the development of tailored learning approaches to address varying student abilities and requirements

Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience working with students is desirable

A passion for education and supporting students to achieve their best

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a team, while also being proactive and independent when needed

Flexible and able to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and needs
