EYFS Teaching Assistant:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Early Years teaching assistant to join a lovely school near to Blackpool. You will be supporting reception pupils on a 1-1 basis.

This is a part time position for three mornings a week. The successful candidate will have previous experience with early years and a relevant experience in early childhood.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities for children.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education would be highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
