HR Advisor - Temp to Perm

Agility is excited to be working with one of the North West's best success stories. Due to growth, they have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor. This is a new position and will be based at their head office. This is on an initial 3 month contract and may go permanent

As this is a new position you will be integral to the growth and monitoring of the group.

You will be working with the HR Manager and wider HR Team to provide HR support and guidance to Managers and staff across the Company covering an HR generalist role. To work on HR projects with the HR Team to support the HR Strategy.

Overview

  • Advising managers on HR policies, procedures and practices ensuring the advice provided complies with employment legislation and meets the operational requirements.
  • Providing advice, facilitating and maintaining deadlines on all employee relations queries, including but not limited to grievance, disciplinary, capability, absence management and performance procedures.
  • Driving compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Dealing with day-to-day HR transactional issues, providing tailored employee/managerial support when required.
  • Managed and monitored the HR inbox and responded to queries promptly.
  • Liaising with other departments e.g. payroll/operations to resolve employee issues. Collaborative working and sharing information when required to relevant parties.
  • Line manages an HR Administrator.
  • Preparing the agenda and running the weekly HR/Ops meetings to ensure collaborative working between the HR and Operations teams.
  • Referring staff to Health and Safety lead for risk assessments due to changes in health, and making Occupational Health referrals when required.
  • Reporting risks to HR Manager and Rradar to obtain advice if required

Desirables

  • CIPD Level 5
  • Thorough understanding of employment law/legislation and best practices Ability to develop learning and development materials.
  • Knowledge or experience of Articulate or other authoring tools
  • Proven track record as an HR Officer/HR Advisor or equivalent role
  • Sound knowledge and experience in employee relations
