Company Overview:Our client, a well-established and respected law firm based in the heart of Blackpool, is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner or Paralegal to join their growing property team. Job Overview:As an Experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner or Paralegal, you will play a key role in managing a caseload of residential property transactions, guiding clients through the process from start to finish. The role requires a proactive individual who is highly organized, confident in dealing with clients, and experienced in residential conveyancing law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to post-completion.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, leasehold and freehold matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, transfers, and lease agreements.
  • Handle property searches, completion statements, and liaison with third parties including solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in line with best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and case management, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, offering exceptional customer service throughout the process.
  • Assist with the development and improvement of departmental processes and procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Solid experience in residential conveyancing, either as a fee earner or paralegal.
  • Excellent understanding of residential property law and current legal procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Previous experience using case management systems is highly desirable.
  • A professional and proactive approach to work.

Desirable Qualifications/Skills:

  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualifications.
  • CILEX qualification (or working towards) is advantageous.
  • Experience in handling complex transactions and client queries.
