Position: Digital Marketing Executive

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000

Location: Blackpool (onsite)

What's the background?

You will be joining a good sized Marketing team, for a business that operates multiple brands within it's Group. They have a long and successful history with clients across the UK and internationally.

Running multiple websites for the various brands, they also sell across eBay and Amazon stores so adopt some ecommerce within their sales channels.

The company offer great employee benefits and adopt flexible working - the hours are 9-5 but they operate a core day of 10-4.

Responsibilities:

As the Digital Marketing Executive you will be responsible for helping generate sales through digital strategies. You will be someone who has great understanding and knowledge of different SEO and PPC strategies to ensure the maximum results are achieved.

You'll have an inquisitive mind and always be wanting to try new methods to improve results, or researching new techniques or tools.

An interest and appreciation in AI and an appetite to utilise this would be advantageous too as the company are keen to integrate more AI tools to drive effectivess and results for the Marketing team.

Typical duties in the role of the Digital Marketing Executive will include:

  • Writing content for the websites that supports SEO by including the most valuable and suitable key words
  • Help manage social media accounts, supporting with content creation, and looking to increase engagement and lead generation
  • Monitor and report on website performance
  • Optimise website content including metadata, URLs, and internal linking structure
  • Managing PPC and CPC campaigns to maximise effectivess and achieve the best ROI from paid advertising
  • Researching key words to ensure you are utilising those most effective
  • Using various tools to monitor and measure the success of campaigns
  • Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to adjust strategies accordingly

Experience needed:

  • A proven track-record of creating and delivering marketing campaigns to support sales and service.
  • A qualification in Marketing, English or another business-related degree (or relevant marketing qualification i.e., CIM)
  • Excellent writing skills, as content production is a huge part of the job.
  • Be results driven and have a portfolio of demonstrable success with campaign ROI.
  • Experience of using a web CMS.
  • Previous experience of using HubSpot is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Driving licence

Experience Needed:

  • Technically strong in website management, SEO, PPC and CPC
  • A minimum of three years in a digital marketing role
  • Experience of using various tools such as Google Analytics, Semrush, etc
  • Proven track record of successful SEO strategies implementation
  • Proficiency in Content Management Systems, HTML, Google Search Console, and Social Media Management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw insights
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
