Planner / Scheduler required to work for a value driven not-for-profit business with a truly amazing team! The hours are full time, 35 hours per week. The main purpose of the role is to deliver excellent customer service and booking inspections, through effective resource scheduling and planning. You must have previous experience in the co-ordination or planning of works! It would be perfect if you have previous experience dealing with repairs or damp and disrepair, however this is not essential. The role would suit someone who is highly organised and able to manage their own workload well and has a high standard of customer service! You must be a strong communicator for this position! What will you be doing as a Planner / Scheduler?

  • Allocating and planning inspections for both in house operatives and external contractors covering day to day and void jobs
  • Monitoring and managing inspectors diaries to maximise productivity
  • Monitoring and managing time taken to complete jobs, following up on outstanding work and ensuring both in house and external contractors communicate the status of the damp and disrepair allocated to them
  • Being the principal contact for in house operatives
  • Ensuring excellent customer service

If you have the following skills and experience, we would LOVE to hear from you:

  • You must have previous experience planning and scheduling operatives / engineers works or distributing works for disrepair or maintenance
  • Proficient with the full range of Microsoft Office
  • Your previous job titles may include; Planner / Scheduler / Scheduling Co-ordination / Planning Co-ordinator / Resource Planner / Planning Officer
  • Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Effective liaison with staff/other stakeholders to give information/find information/resolve problems
  • Organisation and ability to time-manage workload
  • Able to deliver a high standard of customer service
  • Ability to work well as part of a team as well as own initiative
