Primary Teacher (Year 3) - Maternity Cover (1 Year) - Blackpool

Romano Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Blackpool. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to cover a maternity leave for one year, starting after the Easter break in April 2025.

The Role:
  • Full-time Primary Teacher for a Year 3 class.
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress, ensuring all students reach their full potential.
  • Working collaboratively with support staff, parents, and the senior leadership team.
  • Potential opportunities for a longer-term role for the right candidate.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2) preferred, but strong Key Stage 1 teachers will also be considered.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage all learners.
  • A commitment to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents.
  • This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
