Teaching Assistant - Blackpool:
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to support a KS1 class at a lovely school near to Blackpool. This is a full time position to start after the February half term.
The Role:
- Preparing learning resources and activities
- Supporting children 1-1 and in small groups
- Communicating with the class teacher to monitor progress
Position Details:
- Location: Blackpool
- Position: Teaching Assistant
- Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 85 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: 24/02/2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting KS1 within a school setting
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desired
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
