Your RoleAs our new Head of Estates, you will be at the forefront of leading change, inspiring a high-performing team, and shaping the future of our estates services. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will ensure Atlas delivers excellence in statutory compliance, governance, financial performance, and service quality.

What You’ll Do• Oversee the strategic and operational management of complex estates and engineering services across acute and community locations.• Deliver exceptional, customer-focused building and engineering solutions through in-house teams and trusted external partners.• Shape the future of estates services at Atlas by developing forward-thinking strategies and fostering innovation.• Lead the procurement, design, and management of minor building and engineering projects, ensuring full compliance with health and safety guidelines, industry legislation, and NHS standards.• Implement a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program to ensure operational excellence.• Act as the lead officer for statutory compliance, safeguarding Atlas and its clients with world-class governance.

What We’re Looking ForWe’re searching for a visionary leader with:• A degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline (e.g., building services, electrical, or mechanical engineering), and ideally Chartered professional registration/accreditation in relevant discipline (RIBA, CIOB, RICS, CIBSE, etc.) • Proven senior management experience in estates management, ideally within healthcare or a similar environment.• A collaborative, inclusive leadership style with a track record of driving meaningful change and delivering results.• Exceptional relationship-building skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and partners.• A proactive approach to innovation, problem-solving, and service transformation.
