Job Summary

The main purpose of the role is aimed to ensure day to day shift running and managing daily operations as per GM/AM guidance. Supervisor acts as a support role to higher level management team and is assigned tasks in accordance with his strengths/weaknesses to ensure further gradual development in his role. The Supervisor is assumed the highest FOH team leader and is responsible for shift organizing and staffing performance on the day scheduled to work.

Guests Focus

Responsible for Customer Services during the scheduled shifts and the sections supervised.

Handles table payments.

Audits section servers performance and monitors service standards

Ensures the steps of service are followed.

Team Champion

Upon request could carry recruitment and selection tasks.

Maintains a good relationship with management team and acts as an information link among team members and management.

Deals with customer queries and customer complaints in the utmost professional manner.

Follows up on FOH training.

Oversees the performance of front-line staff.

Brand Excellence

Maintains product quality by spot check buffet product quality checks.

Ensures the team follows are safety standards.

Ensures the team follows all SOPs

Checks all tasks have been completed in a timely manner.

Communication

Encourage clear and engaging communication between BOH and FOH

Recognise and praise the team when they do a great job.

Empower and energise the team for the day ahead with informative and positive team briefs.

Restaurant Operations

In charge of shift organising and smooth shift running

Carry out staff briefing and ensure smooth operation during his shift runs.

Assumes full financial accountability during GM/AM absence on shift.

Follows opening/change over and closing check list to ensure the highest standards of all areas of restaurant cleanliness and H&S.

Assigns daily duties to the team.

Responsible for the key positions of Bar, Reception or Delivery.
