Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students? We are seeking a talented English Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school on a maternity cover basis for the full academic year from September 2025 to July 2026.About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and events.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
