Science Teacher - Secondary School in Blackpool (ASAP Start)

Aspire People are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their secondary school in Blackpool, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and engage students in the exciting world of science.

This role is to start ASAP on a full time basis (Monday - Friday) long term until Easter, which maybe extended and possibility go permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for guiding students through their scientific journey, creating lessons that are both interactive and engaging. You'll cater to diverse learning styles and lead students in hands-on experiments, captivating discussions, and thought-provoking activities. Your passion for the subject will help students develop a deeper understanding of the natural world and inspire a love for science.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the science curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Provide timely feedback and assessments to monitor and support student progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Participate in school-wide events and extracurricular activities to contribute to the school community.

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in the science disciplines.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying ages and abilities.
A commitment to continuous professional development and the desire to grow as an educator.

Additional Information:
All candidates registering with Aspire People will undergo a reference check covering the past two years and must complete an enhanced DBS check, including enrolment in the update service.
