Reed Education is looking for a dynamic Business & Enterprise Teacher to join a secondary school in Wyre on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment for students.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering Business & Enterprise lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, with KS5 being an advantage.
  • Creating a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and engagement.
  • Developing lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to varying levels of student ability.
  • Assessing and recording student progress and providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Upholding the school’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding and disciplinary standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Recent relevant experience teaching Business & Enterprise at KS3 and KS4, with KS5 being an advantage.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and subject knowledge.
  • Reliable, committed, and able to act as a positive role model for students.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, punctuality, patience, and confidence when working with children.
