Pay rate, £30.66 per hourThe Talent Crowd are recruiting for a Social Worker within an Adult Social Care Learning Disability Team. The team works with adults and young living in Blackpool and provides direct support as well as commissioning specialist support from providers.Working Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm & Fridays 9am – 4.30pm. Based at Blackpool Council Bickerstaffe Offices.This role will be working and supporting adults and young people with learning disabilities completing Care Act Assessments and Care Act reviews. The role will be line managed by the Learning Disability Team Manager.We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed social worker. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, competent knowledge of the implementation of the Care Act 2014, experience of managing and leading on safeguarding, managing risk and care management.We are looking for a social worker who has experience of working with adults who have a learning disability and their families, is passionate about learning disabilities, supporting service users, staff teams, collaborating with colleagues and partners.
