Vacancy:    Supply Chain Manager Salary:     £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending upon experience) Hours:     Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pmÂ
Key Duties:
- Leading the purchasing team to manage the efficient flow of orders from placement to completion
- Analysing supply chain metrics (costs, lead times, service level agreements etc)
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency of the supply chain
- Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating with existing suppliers to maximise efficiency
- Demand forecasting and inventory planning, developing contingency plansÂ
Person Specification:
- Indirect procurement experience (sourcing services for the manufacturing of the company’s product line)Â
- Proven manager, commercially aware with strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Qualification (e.g. CIPS) would be beneficial but not essential to applyÂ
