Toolmaker duties will include:

Ensuring that tooling is serviced and set up to the correct specification.
Making certain that all tooling is available for production with all necessary equipment and fittings in line with production requirements.
Control of spare parts and materials required to maintain tooling.
Ensuring records and all documentation required for compliance are completed.
Carry out repairs to tooling as required, utilising in-house and external resources.
Development of processes, including trialling of new moulds, in conjunction with other stakeholders.
Liaising with production, technical, quality and maintenance departments to ensure equipment is maintained to required standards.

Previous experience working as a toolmaker or in a mechanical maintenance capacity maintaining production tooling.
A relevant engineering qualification (BTEC, HNC, NVQ, etc.)
Experience with all relevant toolroom / workshop equipment such as lathes, millers, grinders, etc.
