Process Injection Moulding Tool Setter

£33,000 - £36,000 per annum (overtime is paid over and above the contracted hours).

Monday – Friday day shift, 7.30 – 5pm with flexibility (after the initial 3-month probationary period you will join an on-call rota).

NuStaff are proud to bring to market this unique opportunity for a Process Injection Moulding Tool Setter with a renowned Manufacturing company based in Blackwood. As an experienced Tool Setter, you will be competent in process and technical trouble shooting. You will form part of a close-knit, high-performance team working effectively carrying out tool changes and setting of a variety of machines.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Carrying out mould tool changes as per the daily schedule, around 5-7 tool changes per day.
  • Process and adapt conditions to produce quality approved components.
  • Completing settings paperwork.
  • Use of an overhead gantry.
  • Use of robots including six axis robots.
  • Responsible for Health and Safety procedures while setting the machines.
  • Ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Handling of heavy and expensive tooling.

Skills & experience required

  • Previous experience with Negri bossi, Engel and BMB advantageous
  • Solid understanding in automation and process and technical troubleshooting
  • Experience working within Injection Moulding environment advantageous
  • Demonstrate a driven and conscientious work ethic
