REED Procurement are partnered with a Manufacturing company based in the Blackwood area who have over years experience in their sector. They are looking for a dedicated Buyer to join their team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be involved in Procurement, Vendor Management, and MRP Scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Use your commercial and analytical skills to negotiate prices, contracts, and service level agreements.
- Take a proactive and adaptable approach to procurement, focusing on teamwork.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and contribute to the business’s success.

Qualifications:
- Degree-level education, preferably with CIPS certification (or working towards it).
- Experience in Supply Chain or Procurement.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly with spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP and SAP systems.
- Experience working within regulatory environments and following procedures.
