JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HSE Coordinatorwith advanced knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, who is passionate about Health & Safety and has experience within a manufacturing or similar environment.
Working as the HSE Coordinatoryou will assist with all areas of H&S across the site and in alignment with the company’s requirements, supporting the wider Health & Safety Team, with a focus on maintaining compliance with all legislation and promoting a positive H&S culture.
As the HSE Coordinatoryou will conduct regular site visits and documented inspections.

DUTIES
Your role as HSE Coordinatorwill include:
- Supporting the Plant and overseeing HSE standards across all UK & Eire company sites
- Regular site visits across the UK
- Ensuring that all Health and Safety standards and procedures are correct and aligned with UK \ Republic of Ireland legislation and Group requirements, with a focus on promoting a positive HSE culture
- Conduct regular documented inspections across all sites
- Collate and analyse audit, inspection, accident, incident and near miss data along with other key HSE performance data
- Assisting in the development and monitoring of safe systems of work, risk assessments and other key HSE documentation
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- An advanced knowledge of overarching Health, Safety and Environmental legislation with a willingness to research industry best practice and innovative ways of working towards compliance with that legislation
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent
- IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent
- A great attitude towards teamwork and continuous improvement
- Passionate about health and safety
- Excellent IT and communication skills
- Strong Knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards
- Understanding of ISO50001 standard
- Experience of a manufacturing type environment
- Full driving licence & own vehicle
