Sellick Partnership are working with a fantastic client who are looking for a highly motivated SSoftware Developer to join their dynamic development team. The primary focus of this role is to work with PHP/Laravel and SQL. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing our web-based applications. They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, collaborative, and keen to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

* Writing well-designed, efficient, and high-quality code in PHP/Laravel

* Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure product objectives are met in a timely manner

* Participating in the Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure that the development process is streamlined, and requirements are met

* Ensuring code is clean, maintainable and understandable by other developers

* Investigating and resolving technical issues in the application

* Contributing to the documentation of the project

Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience working with PHP/Laravel & SQL

* Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

* Knowledge of database structures, querying, and best practices

* Experience working with RESTful API's

* Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle

* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality code

* Ability to work effectively in a team and to collaborate with developers and other departments on projects

* Excellent communication skills

Advantageous Experience:

* React

* Testing frameworks (e..g. PHPUnit, E2E)

* DevOps

* Hosting Administration (Digital Ocean, AWS etc)

* Other Web Platforms/Services
