As Senior Design Engineer for this leading manufacturer, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding product development initiatives, supporting continuous improvement projects, and mentoring junior designers.
Working closely with cross-functional teams across the business, you’ll take the lead on exciting, hands-on projects from concept to manufacture, whilst working in a growing team.

Senior Design Engineer Responsibilities
- Lead design projects from concept to production.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create practical, cost-efficient design solutions.
- Manage technical documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support engineering planning, process improvements, and continuous development.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in a Senior Design Engineer role, ideally within manufacturing.
- Understanding of design-for-manufacture principles and mechanical product design.
- Confident using CAD software and managing design documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally.
- Experience managing projects and mentoring junior engineers.
