Joining a fast-paced Infrastructure Team, you'll use your Windows/VMware expertise to action requests and resolve incidents fast. It's a wide-ranging remit that's full of varied tasks. You could be updating documentation one day, and installing servers, workstations and hard/software the next. One of your most important responsibilities will be owning, tracking and resolving Wintel 2016, 2019 VMware/ESX, Exchange, related incidents and requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning, tracking and resolving Wintel 2016, 2019 VMware/ESX, Exchange, related incidents and requests.
  • Installs and maintain physical and virtual servers, workstations, and associated hardware and software.
  • Implements required changes to systems through formal change application.
  • Monitors HA, Clustering, DFS and associated technologies to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Provide technical assistance to major systems' projects.
  • Diagnose server related performance issues, and perform in depth root-cause analysis.
  • Perform general system configuration, backups, maintenance and optimisation of server and network infrastructure, always under formal change process.
  • Be result oriented with tasks, completed with high sense of urgency and quality.
  • Management and configuration of Network hardware and software.

Desirable:


* Cisco Network Administration experience or certification (CCNA or CCNP)
