Maintenance Engineer, Blandford

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued efficient and safe running of production machinery, as well as undertaking general maintenance across the site. With a bias for electrical / electronic principles, you’ll be familiar with a range of electro-mechanical systems.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will:

  • Implement a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule for production machinery across the site.
  • Be available for reactive maintenance, reducing machinery down-time.
  • Working to improve plant efficiency and performance.
  • Providing technical engineering support to the manufacturing team
  • Coordinating maintenance activities with your teammates, ensuring all safety and site policies are met.
  • Completion and communication of reporting and tracking documentation.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience undertaking maintenance activities on machinery.
  • The ability to maintain accurate PPMs and service records.
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical safety systems.
  • An understanding of health and safety documentation, including food safety.
  • Completion of relevant Engineering Qualification (eg NVQ / HND).
