Description
Part Time Payroll Officer:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for over 300 employees.

Maintain and update payroll records, capturing all extras and deductions.

Process payroll using SAGE Payroll, including payslip issuance and RTI submissions.

Prepare and manage payroll deductions for HMRC and pension contributions.

Reconcile payroll data with group benefits providers.

Resolve payroll-related queries such as overtime, sick pay, and leave.

Assist with payroll reporting and analysis for decision-making purposes.

Support the finance team with bookkeeping and other finance-related tasks.

Contribute to the migration from Xero to Sage accounting software.
Profile
Part Time Payroll Officer:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Excel (SUMIF, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Word.

Experience using modern accounting software, ideally SAGE.

A proactive and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.
